Pastel colours always seem right as the snow melts. The days are getting lighter and longer. Things haven't quite de-frosted, but this time of year always brings about a hopefulness and promise of the return of bounty and colour. Here is a small collection of pieces I've created as I dream about the ground waking up after winter.
These chandelier earrings each feature 7 frosty Prehnite crystals. They make me think of the frozen berries left on bushes for the birds to eat throughout the winter.
Total earring length is about 1.5" including the hook.
