I love trees. Even after planting thousands of them every day for 4 months of the year, 4 years in a row. I love imagining my tiny seedlings growing big and strong, like the silhouettes in this 'Plant a Tree' collection.

This strong oak tree silhouette reminds me of picnics in the park on a hot summer evening, or reading a book in the shade in the fall.

The tree silhouette in this ring is pierced from a sterling silver dome and soldered to a brass backing. The brass backing is darkened using a patina to create a higher contrast. The band is 1.5 mm thick round sterling silver wire.
