Beechnuts are the seeds of beautiful Beech trees. They scatter the ground in the fall, formed in pairs inside a spiny pod. I've always admired the interesting 3-sided shape.
These earrings are cast in brass from two separate beechnuts that I collected on a walk at the cottage. They remind me of long walks around the lake, through the brightly-coloured Autumn forest.
Brass beechnuts dangle from sterling silver hooks. Beechnuts measure 3/4" in height.
