Pastel colours always seem right as the snow melts. The days are getting lighter and longer. Things haven't quite de-frosted, but this time of year always brings about a hopefulness and promise of the return of bounty and colour. Here is a small collection of pieces I've created as I dream about the ground waking up after winter.
A beautifully patterned purple lace agate is set in a scalloped bezel setting. The back of the piece has a nice surprise--a silver crocus soldered onto a textured and darkened backing.
Pendant measures 2.5cm x 4.3cm and hangs on a rectangular link 18" chain.
