Pastel colours always seem right as the snow melts. The days are getting lighter and longer. Things haven't quite de-frosted, but this time of year always brings about a hopefulness and promise of the return of bounty and colour. Here is a small collection of pieces I've created as I dream about the ground waking up after winter.
A beautifully patterned purple lace agate is set in a bezel setting. The striping in the stone reminds me of the patterns of ice turning to water as it thaws.
Pendant measures 1.4cm x 2.7cm and hangs on a dainty 18" chain.
